The incident at CSBP Kwinana site is now over and the site has returned to normal operations. The area where the fire occurred at 9am is now an exclusion zone.

Employees on site have returned to normal operations. There were no injuries and WesCEF will be investigating the cause of the fire.

The fire occurred at a non-operational part of the plant which was being demolished.  The building is located in a decommissioned area in the south west corner of the site, and separate to the chemicals plants.   

CSBP customers will be able to enter the Kwinana site shortly and there should be minimal impact to ongoing operations.
